Out of date tuna pasta, yesterday's date, shall i eat it?!


Question: i dont like throwing away food, waste of money. but i also dont want 2 be ill. it says 'use by' on it not 'best before'. but it's only 1 day. advice please?

Should be ok

a expiration date is only a suggested day to eat it by (Best Before). I usualy have yogurt 1 week past the exiry date and its still good.

It will be just fine. I don't pay much attention to these dates. If you throw it out that will please the distributor greatly and you will have to buy more. If it looks good and smells good (it will), use it.

Before "they" used to post those "use by" dates on perishable foods . . . NO one ever took ill . . . Now that "they" post stuff like that; the whole entire Universe starts barfing up stuff . . . . Go figure that one out . . . I don't know.
