Does anyone like vegemite?!

Question: Hello. I know i should like it as i was brought up eating it as i am in Australia but i got sick of it. It is really healthy and good for kids. I like promite and that is another nice one like vegemite. I will still eat it if i have to but i want extra butter as it is strong but ok. Take care.

I hate it, but my husband and kids love it.

Not me...I think it's an acquired taste like spam :)

Vegemite on toast.
Cheese and Vegemite Sandwiches.
Lettuce and Vegemite Sandwiches.
As a drink.
Added to stews, casseroles or gravy.

I guess I could describe myself as liking it. LoL

only Australians

I am a former chef and was introduced to it in Singapore by the Australian pastry chef we had, I like it as they do on hot buttered toast with either cheddar or cheez whiz (the only way I eat it), it is a good flavouring for veggie stocks and vegetarian based mains, I use a bit in my veggie burgers and seitan dishes.

Not everyones cup of tea, but it is a good source of iron and fat free.

Yes, I do. I also like Marmite, Spam & tinned Corned Beef. I like Bovril & Olvaltine, as well. I am an ex pat from the UK.
Funny, I always thought Spam was British until I found out it was manufactured in the US.
