Which is healthier: Red potatoes or regular potatoes?!

Question: red dear

Answers: red dear

regular potatoes?????

a

I like beans

A potato is as a potato does. (what ever that means!)
Both are a starch or carb.
Red can pull ahead from the regular baking potato simply because we tend to eat the skins on them.

Neither! They are mostly strach and starch turns into sugar and is bad for you and makes you fat!

All potatoes are healthy to eat. It's what you do to them when you cook them that can make them un-healthy or healthier.

the same

red potatoes have more fiber so they are better or you

spuds are spuds.

it all depends on what you want to do with them.
if you want baked or mashed potatoes use russett.
if you are going to make potatoe-au-grattin, or a recipe where you want the potatoe to keep its form then use red or white (yukon gold) potatoes. they hold their texture and form when cooked.

P.S.
if you want to try an AWESOME recipe instead of milk in your mashed potatoes use cream cheese, or sour cream. they are WAY more creamy and have a tangy taste.
good luck
