Answers: I hurt all over... Help me including recipes....

When I have a head or chest cold, I go for vegetable soup to which I've added HOT STUFF like tabasco, red pepper flakes, lots of freshly ground black pepper or cayenne - anything to get things "draining". Believe me IT WORKS - better than medication!!

For solid food, I go for HOT WINGS, a sandwich with hot horseradish or Arby's horsey sauce or a hot curry.

nothing beats chicken noodle soup

Campbell's Chicken Noddle Soup eat every day until better

either chicken broth or chicken noodle soup. cream-based soups don't settle well in the stomach when you are sick and there has been actual documentation that chicken soup DOES make people feel better.

Yeah, Chicken noodle, inhale the steam too!

For at least the last century chicken noodle soup has been the one recommended by doctors.

Chicken broth served hot in a mug. Drink this every hour or so and you'll get better quicker. The broth is more concentrated than the chicken noodle soup and works faster to get you feeling better.

Like my friend Mel said " Jewish Penicillin is the only thing that gives you comfort and relief when you have the miseries." By that we can assume it is good , heavy chicken soup. A few cups of the broth with a little toast has done the trick for me. In fact the soup is good any time, sick or not.
