If I eat too much pineapple, it makes my tongue a little raw... I think it might be from the acids in the pineapple.

That doesn't happen when I eat pineapple... maybe you are allergic.

not for me

my tongue feels a little bit weird after i eat pinapple

It really depends on where the pineapple originated. Some are grown for sweet eating and some are grown for canning. When you cut into a pineapple an acid is released and can be very unpleasant. A chemist explained it to me some years ago. I had just returned from a trip to Hawaii and visited the Dole plantation for a tour of the pineapple fields where they grew them for canning and at the end of the tour we were were offered spears of the fruit to try. My lips and tongue were burned by the acid immediately and my lips were blistered for the remainder of my trip. Subsequent to that I received a box of pineapples from Mexico (someone else tried them first) and they were sweeter than candy. Such a difference. I still buy them but I make sure where they come from first.

this doesnt happen to me!! maybe you should ask doctor for advise as you may be allergic to pineapple
