Could you tell me if it is better to eat Turkey Burgers. Thank you!!
Answers: Turkey Breast meat made into burgers? Has anyone ever tried them? I just had then for supper and it was fantastic! It tasted like a tenderloin. I was wondering if Turkey Burgers was healthier than red meat such as ground beef for hamburgers, because i heard that poultry was leaner for you.

Absolutely much healthier than red meat burgers. Less fat.
Turkey burgers are the healthiest of beef or chicken. It is the leanest meat.
Better to eat turkey burgers. Isn't is great that you like them too.
I love those!!! Man, wish you call me if you had those! I could eat 6 bugers! with fries and turkey gravy on top on those fried!! try them!
It is leaner than beef but when you cook turkey burgers in a skillet you have to put oil in the pan to keep them from sticking. That must cancel out some of the low fat properties of the turkey. Sometimes I mix ground turkey with beef for meatloaf or meatballs. My favorite burgers are made from moose meat. Its a very lean red meat. Deer, elk and antelope are good, too. If all you are looking at is calorie and fat content, turkey scores better than beef.
yes it is better for you and if you use a grill like the foreman ones you don't have to add oil to keep it from sticking. you can also use it to grill some onions to make a patty melt.
It is better to eat Turkey Burgers, and in my experience, so much tastier! It is milder, so you can spice it any way you want!
The thing about ground turkey is, it's only better for you if you buy it without the skin. The package will say something on it about "without skin". If you buy the cheaper stuff that has the skin ground up with the meat, it is just as high in fat as hamburger. It is more expensive, but compare 1.5 grams of fat per 4 oz. serving to anywhere from 8 to 20 grams of fat.
try making a meat loaf with it.... to die for......
I love them.... My husband can't eat red meat.... for health reasons so our whole menu of food has changed.... And sometimes when he is craving a fat hamburger... I make him homemade turkey burgers... what I usally do is finely chop some bell peppers, onion and garlic.... let it sit in the frig for awhile and then just shape them and grill them....then offer a lot of fixings..... healthy is the way to go...
