Can it be bad to eat alot of bread?!


Question: lol, because I eat bread/toast alot, and love it, but I wondered can it be bad for you...if you eat it alot more then anything else?
I mean..white bread isn't good for your bowel or whatever apparently..

Welll if you eat alot white bread then yes it is. and you are my first question that i answerd

too many carbs just aren't good for you. They cause you to pile on weight and cause bloating. I should know....I luv bread!

white bread is full of suger! and if you eat to much bread, you are consuming too many carbs. whole wheat bread is good to have... its okay if you love bread.. just cut down a bit on it. make it that it's not the only thing you're eating in a day..

I don't eat bread at all any more... I Have bad indigestion because of it.

Empty carbs like in white bread, pasta, rice aren't good for you.
Your body uses them for fuel but it burns fast and leaves you hungrier than if you eat high-fiber foods and protein.
Therefore you eat more and those empty calories turn into fat.

no white bread isnt good for you.. it sits on the top of your stomach for a long time that other food stuff..

try changing to brown bread if you like it that much but i would say cut down..

i eat approx 5 slices of bread a week brown or white but thats it

Bread is relatively useless, nutritionally speaking. It contains calories, and is made of a simple starch which converts very quickly into sugar, which is bad for you.

There are other crunchy, healthier things for you to eat.

it depends on the kind of bread. if it's got a lot of preservatives and chemicals, like white bread, then yes. just watch it. i've never heard of to much itialan or french bread

if you stick to whole grain you should be fine. otherwise you may get constipated often.

Oh, that reminds me, I've got sandwiches in the fridge. I don't think it's good to eat too much white bread. It makes you feel full and you don't get enough nutrients.

Eating a lot of everything isn't good. Make sure you a little bit of all your food groups.

I suppose it is, however, I absolutely love fresh crusty Italian bread with lots of butter (that's bad for you too). In the summertime who could resist hot Irish Soda bread a half an hour out of the oven, lots of butter and cheddar cheese with a cold bottle of beer.

White bread is the worst for your health. Whole wheat is better for your body, also a good source of fiber.

it is not proper bread today compared to years ago in the 1940s and 50s you couldn't eat to much of it has it filled you up very quickly, but to days bread is steamed if full of no nutritious value but it will get you fat, it has to many colourings,preservatives, and artificial flavourings
