What is your absolute best/favorite Taco Bake ??!


Question: Taco Bake Pie
I like this one...
I make it so many different ways.


1 pound ground beef
1/2 Cup chopped onion
1 package taco seasoning mix
3/4 cup water
1 3/4 cups flour
1 package quick rise yeast
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons chopped onion
3/4 teaspoon salt
2/3 can warm water
2 Tablespoons oil
1/2 cup crushed corn chips
1 cup cheddar cheese -- shredded
1 cup lettuce -- chopped
1 1/2 cups Diced tomato
Sour cream

Filling: Brown 1 pound lean ground beef with 1/2 cup chopped onion. Add 1 package of taco seasoning and 3/4 cups of water. Simmer for 25 minutes.

Topping: Top with cheese, lettuce and tomatoes

Taco Crust: In medium bowl combine 1 cup flour, yeast, sugar, onion and salt; mix well. Add Very warm water and oil to mixture. Mix by hand till almost smooth. Stir in corn chips and enough flour to make a stiff batter. Spread in a well greased 10 inch pie pan. Cover and let rise 10 minutes. Spread meat filling over dough. Bake at 375 Degrees for 30-35 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese, lettuce and tomato. Dot with sour cream.

People in the US don't know what a REAL taco is...go to mexico..and it has plain old chicken with other stuff..... or pork..tounge...not crappy mutalated beef with seasoning. They don't even have crunchy shells in mexico.

Sorry...,but real tacos are my favorite

1. Probably. I drink a lot of water.
2. Yes, I do. I have one in my car, and a few spread out throughout my personal belongings. The one in the car actually has batteries with power.

3. Quite possibly Jewel Crunchy Granola Raisin Bran. It's great and lightly sweetend with little granola thingies in it.

4. I think she will eventually run for public office.

5. Going home and being with my family. alh is going to So. MN to be with her dad's side.

2. Do you own a flashlight? I'm sure there are several in my house. I don't think I've purchased any of them.

3. What is your favorite cereal to eat dry? Golden Grahams. or Cheerios if I happen to be sharing them with a small child.

4. Make a prediction regarding the future of Britney Spears. She will get a bigger role in a bigger movie soon. And she will become a slightly more legitimate 'crossover' star. then, she will get hit by a bus, and be horirbly scarred for life, but will donate whatever celebrity she has left to working with other survivors of bus-related accidents, and become Hollywood's Mother Theresa.

5. What are you doing for Thanksgiving? Eating Turkey and chillin with my family, like every year. perhaps we can get everyone together for a late night poker game, and have a good excuse to jet early on Turkey Day.
