Reheating Chicken Fingers?!
Answers: My mom brought home chicken fingers for dinner last night, but unfortunately I fell asleep before dinner time so I did not get to eat them (so she put them in the fridge). How do I reheat them [so that they taste somewhat the same, and are safe]?
as long as they were in the fridge right away, they are safe. you can reheat in microwave or oven. In microwave, they may be kind of chewy. Oven takes longer, but they will taste better ( in my opinion) Try 350 degrees for about 5 minutes. it is just like when you heat up the ones you buy at the grocery store! I have done this many times, because I have 3 of my own children, and they would live on chicken fingers if they could.
You could put them in the stove which would taste the best but if u r in a hurry then put them in the microwave and if u use the micro sprinkle just a lil water on top of them.
Place them on a baking sheet or pan in a pre-heated 350 degree oven for about 10 minutes. check them after 5 minutes. You might want to turn them so they'll heat evenly and won't get too dark on one side. You could also put a very light coating of oil in a non-stick skillet and heat them on the stove top on medium low heat. Watching them carefully and turning a few times. Keep a cover over them so they'll heat more quickly
i would wrap in foil and bake till hot or on a plate in microwave with a damp not wet papertowel laid across the tenders
Do you have a toaster ovenThey reheat really nice in there or the oven.I think they get to rubbery in the micro...for me anyway....even if it takes longer in the oven.
Why wouldn't they be safe? They were in the frig...
Deep fry if you have a fryer for 2 minutes or put in the oven at 350 for about 12-15 minutes uncovered. As far as safety, if they were not left out long after getting home there fine, Reheating any leftover is recomended to reach 165 degrees to be safe.
Put them in the oven at 350 on a cookie sheet. It will only take 5 minute to warm up. After all they are already cooked.
place them around a plate, end-to-end in a circular pattern. that way they will heat evenly
