Difference in taste?!

Question: whats the diffence in taste between olive oil and extra virgin olive oil?

Answers: whats the diffence in taste between olive oil and extra virgin olive oil?

there isn't much taste difference, but the extra virgin olive oil is better for you, health wise, imho

theres not much difference in taste to me but im sure people will disagree with me!!

Extra virgin is thicker and richer more suitable for dipping and salad dressing also excellent as a meat marinade but to volatile for frying.

Virgin olive oil is a thinner pressing and is more suitable for cooking than eating on its own.

I do find that extra virgin olive oil has a somewhat sweeter and grassier taste than virgin which just has an oily taste and no notable flavors.

Hope this helps!
