Answers: is this knife any good?
ZWILLING J.A.HENCKELS TWIN? Pollux 8" Chef's knife

My knives are Henckels and I have been using them since 1993. I give them for all wedding gifts. They are now expected by sons, daughters, nieces & nephews also those of my good friends.

I have never had a problem.

I have a paring knife, utility knife, boning knife, chef knife, meat carving knife, and steel. Other members of the family have a couple of other items that I wouldn't use anyway.

Maybe to kill someone?

But the name Henckles is a popular brand and of high quality.
8 to10 inch is just fine for home use

Henckels makes excellent knives. I have several and am pleased with them.

A good knife to a chef is a knife that is well balance and has the perfect length of blade that he can work with...
Cooks and Chefs chooses their knife according to how they cut, how the handle is and weight.

Henckels makes excellent professional quality knives. I have a fairly extensive set of Henckel Four Stars that I've collected over the past 20 years. They hone up very well and can maintain a sharp edge when used correctly.

More importantly than what other people think about the knife, you need to see how it feels in your hand. Does the handle fit your hand well? How about the balance and weight? Another thing to consider is what other knives you already have in your collection.

About six years ago, I bought a Henckels 7-in. Hollow Edge Santoku Knife. This particular knife is extremely versatile and has become my favorite one to use. In fact, if I were starting a new knife collection now, I would only have three knives in my collection. The Santoku, the 5.5-inch flexible fillet knife and the 4-inch paring knife.

Whatever knife you decide on, enjoy it and use it in good health!
