What SOUP would go well with BEER BREAD?!

Question: I think a heavier, hearty soup would be best: Vegetable beef, any bean or pea soup, or potato soup would work well. Beer bread says comfort food all the way to me.

I probably wouldn't serve beer bread with something light like chicken noodle or salmon soup. This wouldn't be wrong, it's just not what I do.

wat the hell is beer bread?

cheese soup!

please type in the recipe for beer bread/ oh and if mice i say minestrone

Beer-cheese-sausage soup. I make a killer one. It would be a perfect pairing with the beer bread. Nothing like a dense bread with a thick cheese soup with sausage. Email me if you want the recipe, it's a restaurant recipe.

Beef, barley vegetable would be great!

So would a thick, hearty vegetable soup made with a roux instead of a tomato base. Just cook all the chopped veggies (peas, carrots, kohl rabi, potatoes, turnip, parsley) in a pot of water which just coveres the veggies. When approaching tender, add a chopped cauliflower. When tender add a roux to thicken to stew consistency. Season with celery salt, etc.

The heartier the soup the better.

I think a cheese potatoes soup would be perfect b/c it's delicious and rustic.
