Addicted to roasted pecans!!!!!!?!

Question: So my mum makes pecans which is basically take raw pecan halves and drain them out with a lot of hot water then microwave them which makes them crunchy and a bit airy in the inside. Is this healthy?? I eat soooo much of this like 20 halves a day. Ppl told me pecan halves are good for the brain or something. But are they good for the body? Don't they contain a lot of oil? And if you eat too much does it increase your weight? But they're sooooooooooooooooooooooo good.........................

:)

Nuts have the good types of fat in them but they are fat none the less. An average serving of pecans is 20 halves and contains 196 calories, 183 from fat. A lot of nutritional information that I have read shows that it is really good to eat a serving of nuts every day, you might just want to limit yourself to one serving. As long as you aren't over doing in other areas in what you eat, you should be able to avoid weight gain. Eating these may also help you by making you feel more satisfied after eating them than other foods.
