It should be ok - eggs last quite a long time.

I found this poem on-line which explains how to tell an egg is fresh:

Can you eat that egg?
By Scott Matthews

If not sure you ought-ter,
then place it in water.
If it lies on its side,
then it's fresh; eat with pride.

After three or four days,
at an angle it lays.
But, it still is a treat,
so go on and eat.

Ten days, stands on end,
in your baking 'twill blend.
'Cause it's definitely edible,
in your baking, incredible.

But, if it floats on the surface,
that egg serves no purpose.
'Cause a floater's a stinker!
Out the back door best fling 'er!

Yes no problem

Gill, your as bad as me. I would say yes to the egg as long as it has been in the refrigerator all the time.

Best way to find out is by putting the egg into a bowl of water.
If it sinks then get the frying pan out and start cooking, if it floats throw it away - yuck!

put the egg in a bowl, cover with cool water. If it turns on end, but does not float, it's ok.

Eggs are touchy but if they were stored right and you cook them the right way you will be ok.
Ever hear the rotten egg jokes, if you crack one and it smells
you will know..............

yes this is ok but dont leave longer than 7 days.
