Apple
In jelly, I have just been introduced to Mesquite bean ...I find it to be rich and honey like in taste, The fruit of the prickley pear cactus jelly which is a little like cranberry apple. I do like a good wild grape (mustang) jelly and usually make 30 pints or so a year. It is all my husband will eat...(roll eyes) I on the other hand I love good preserves as well, from peach, apricot raspberry, bluberry, to tomato...don't laugh. It is devine! Made the same as with any other fruit, no peel of course, with sugar and you can even add cinnamon for a different taste. Remember tomatoes ARE fruits.
hot pepper jelly especially on crackers.... yummy
