Bologna's Shelf Life?!

Question: How long would you keep bologna in the fridge? I did the smell test this morning and it seemed fine but I've had it for a week now. Should I just go buy fresh bologna or can it last for longer than a week?

2 weeks
3 - 5 days opened...Refrigerator (35 - 40° F)

**check out the website they have a listing of the shelf life of hundreds of food products**

As for any processed lunch meat if it is wrapped and in the frig it can last up to 14 days, I did once have a package up here in canada go green on me, but it could have been the frig.

The processing does extend the shelf life, and if it is off you will detect a very strong sour almost foul odor, also it will start to change colour darken and then it will really go off, I have mine open for 7-10 days and have had no issues.

Deli meats are OK up to about 10 days. You should be able to tell by the smell and colour. If in doubt toss it.
