Will cooking something hot enough prevent food poisoning?!

yes, meat must get to a high enough temp, also beans like kidney beans and haricot beans. when they are used from the bag, they must be soaked overnight then boiled for at least ten minutes,then they can be cooked and used in the recipe of your choice.
but food that is out of date or has gone off should not be cooked and eaten at all
the bug (bacteria) must be present in your food before I need you to worry..
