drink loadsa water. Its worrying that there are people in your situation. Hope things look up for you soon.

fresh fruit and a can of soup or a lean cruisinne.

Soup is usually very filling and should be under $3, they usually give you bread/roll with it too.

Anything that is high in protein is good too because although it might not be a huge lunch, it fills you up more than carbs.

Ramen noodles and hawaiian punch. You can get more noodles than you could ever eat at lunch for less than a buck and they're not that bad.

Going out to get me some now that I started thinking about them...

Been there done that, hit the dollar menu at McD's and if possible check the change bin in your car and coat pockets. Or see if you can afford the KIDS happy meal, IM not kidding ive done that more then I care to count. And try this, instead of using your money use leftovers from home from dinner the night before if there is any. And start shopping at budget grocery stores like Aldi;s there you can stretch 100$ in to a whole cart of food for 2 weeks. And IF you plan right longer even. I learned how to do this the hard way and its been a great help to my family since my children have been born. As things arent always up to par still. Good luck to you and best wishes

Just eat leftovers, with $3, you're screwed.....

Chili is filling and cheap.

dollar menus at either wendy's or mcdonalds (or any fast food place that has one). ramon noodles are good and very cheap, plus they can be very filling.

you can buy a happy meal, stuff off the dollar menu @ burger king and mcdonalds, wendys... or bring food from home
