Why is it that I don't like mushy apples, but I do like applesauce?!
Answers: Because mushy apples are going off - they're decomposing, and the flesh of the apple is breaking down into various unpleasant-tasting compounds. Applesauce is cooked apple, and the chemical change involved in cooking is quite different from the one involved in decomposition. Applesauce also added sugar, which helps to counteract the acid content, and mellows the flavour.
Applesauce is gross.
Because you're sane, unlike people who like nasty yucky mushy apples.
I don't know but I am right there with you on that.
because mushy apples are gross and aplesauce is good
applesause is cooked apples and mushy apples are rotten
I don't know. I don't like mushy or runny foods much. The juice from the runny foods sometimes gets on the other. I don't like that too much. But I do like applesauce.
You expect apples to be firm, and think that mushy apples are
too old to be any good. You have come to accept applesauce
for what it is, Apples prepared a certain way!
