Can you tell food is still good by just smelling it or mold?!


Question: people on here say....that micro bacteria starts to grow but it starts to grow once it's cooked...so is 2 hours the max to keep it out? but if it's in the fridge....so if it still smells good and has no mold...why is is still bad? is it the number or micro bacteria that u hav eto limit...bec. regardless there's going to be some micro bacteria

I always go by smell and appearances... unless I am way over an expiration date or something. I don't ever get sick this way either. If it is suspicious, don't use it.

If it smells off then don't eat it. Practice by smelling fresh meat when you can and you'll know soon enough.
