I had a chicken sandwich that I made at home and I'm still hungry. I'm craving chocolate chip cookies, which I'm about to go out and buy. =)

i didnt have anything to eat so im gonna have a steak platter with loads of new potaot mash mmm, juicy tender seasoned steaks cooked on the griddle straight to my mouth with mushrooms, wait a minute, damn no mushrooms, the shame of it sobs
I made this pasta dish made with spinach, ground beef and chick peas. Very tasty! Ooo..I want choco chip cookies too! Get me some?!

It's just noon now....either my Weight Watchers meal, Chicken Enchilada Suza (spelling?) or my Asian snacks of rice crackers..lol..fruit punch. Love Chocochip cookies. Had soem yesterday. So much for WeightWatchers, huh?? ;)

I haven't had lunch yet as it is only 10:07am over here. I did pack a healthy lunch though: Turkey sandwich on 100% whole grain bread with lettuce and tomato and a little light mayo, a pear (to get that serving of fruit in), some juice, and a bottle of water.
I usually try to make my sandwiches with 100% whole grain/wheat bread because it's packed with fiber, which not only prevents constipation, diverticulosis, etc but it will quickly fill you up and keep you full for a longer period. Studies have shown that people who's diets consist of high amounts of fiber are more likely to maintain a healthy weight than those who don't eat enough fiber. The pear in my lunch also provides lots of fiber as well as vitamins. Fruit juice also counts as a serving of fruit (minus the fiber) and you also help keep yourself hydrated that way.
Note that a lot of people actually confuse hunger with thirst. In many cases, people will think they're hungry when in reality, they are dehydrated and in need of fluids. If you're still feeling hungry, maybe you should drink some water and maybe have a snack like whole grain crackers or a piece of fruit. A brand called Sensible Portions (can be purchased at Costco) makes 100 calorie packs that are similar to miniature rice cakes made with whole grains. So you're only eating 100 calories (a snack is defined as 100-200 calories for most people) but at the same time the whole grains are gonna satisfy your hunger. By the way, water can make you feel full too. It just won't keep you satisfied as long as food.
Another tip- if you work or go to school, it's a good idea to pack fresh fruit or veggies (such as carrot sticks) and keep them on your desk. Make sure you eat them before you go home. This ensures you're getting in those needed produce servings as well as satisfying your hunger. If these healthy foods are conveniently available to you right on your desk, you'll be less likely to go to the vending machine and get something you don't need.

I haven't ate lunch yet, but gonna go make it now. Gonna have a turkey sandwich w/ cucumbers, grilled mushrooms & onions, and sprouts. Gonna have a spinach salad on the side. I am craving choco chip cookies too...so, gonna have one of those 100 calorie packs of chip ahoy cookies...they are so good.
I had a packet of parsnip, honey and black pepper crisps and then an hour later, pasta in a spicey tomato sauce with slices of chicken breast.
That was over 4 hours ago and its 18:19 now so I've got a jacket potato in the oven for my dinner and I am going to have baked beans and melted cheese on it.

Lunch is my "big" meal for the day so, yes, I am quite full, thank you. I had:

I had chicken stroganoff with no rice, I love that! It fills me up til around dinner time, which will be in an hour or so from now.
well, nothing yet ..... kinda want tuna, but my son just called to say that he wanted subways after school; but before wrestling. So, I may get a small BMT, but I guess that will be my dinner.

chicken sandwichs ar the nicest thing in th world and chicken salads are even nicer. but now its just past 6:30 and i had my din dins too yaaay i had 2 mexican mean beans , cheese and ham sandwichs and for dinner i had fish and chips(typical english meal lol)
