Do you like General Tso's Chicken?!

Question: Chunks of chicken sauteed in special hot Hunan sauce.

Answers: Chunks of chicken sauteed in special hot Hunan sauce.

Yessssss!

It's my favorite Chinese food. Where I used to live there was a place that made the best ... so hot it half took your face off. Since I moved, though, everywhere I've tried just uses too much garlic and not enough heat.

I should learn to make it myself ... couldn't be that hard!

I do, but I just read an article, might have been on Yahoo!, that said General Tso's is the most unhealthy entree you can order at a chinese restaurant. Right up there with sweet and sour pork.

OMG! The calories are huge! But the chicken soooo good!

I use to love it and then i became a veggietarian. been try to find a general tso's tufo ever since

Yes but it makes terrible leftovers (because of the breading).

No - Sesame Chicken is better

MY FAVORITE! YUMMY

I loooove generl tso's chicken! it does have a lot of calories, but theres a way to get around it! This is a weight watchers recipe for general tso's chicken without the breading. It has all the taste, just less calories! Its really yummy, I wouldn't recommend it if it wasn't.

3/4 cup canned reduced-sodium chicken broth
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
2 teaspoons peanut oil
2 medium scallions, chopped
2 medium garlic cloves, minced
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes, minced or 1 dried chili, minced
1 lb uncooked boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 2-inch pieces
2 cups cooked white rice, kept hot

In a medium bowl, whisk together broth, cornstarch, sugar, soy sauce, vinegar and ginger; set aside.
Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add scallions, garlic and pepper and cook 2 minutes. Add chicken and cook until browned all over, about 5 minutes.
Add reserved sauce and simmer until sauce thickens and chicken is cooked through, about 3 minutes.
Serve chicken and sauce over rice. Yields about 1 cup of chicken and sauce and 1/2 cup of rice per serving.

I used to love it. I don't eat Chinese much anymore. sometimes the stuff that is supposed to be chicken does not like or taste like chicken. it scares me. When I used to eat Chinese all the time, General Tso's was my fav.

Yes, I do. I like General Tso's Chicken a lot.

yes i do.

That's one of my favorites!
