Answers: is it just finer?

yes you use caster sugar for cooking cakes and putting on the top normal sugar for tea coffee but mind one day i ran out and used caster in ma tea and it was OK

just finer I think

its just finer.. its to cook with .. so you dont get a granuly texture in your food :-D

Caster sugar is not granulated and so it is finer and smoother. It is good for cake making because it is lighter and makes cakes taste delicious.

It's finer than granulated sugar but is quicker and easier to dissolve and better used in some recipies e.g. cake and sponge recipies.

Caster sugar is the same as regular sugar but it is finer witch is better for making cakes because its lighter

Caster Sugar is finer than Granulated, but not as fine as Icing sugar. What is regular sugar?

Caster Sugar is better on desserts like strawberries and grapefruit as it is finer. Granulated is good in drinks, as it dissolves, and therefore does not need to be fine.

its much much more finer,
soo its not all lumpy when you need to use it for cooking etc.

;)

I sometimes put regular sugar in the liquidiser and turn it to caster

The granules are approximately half the size of regular sugar granules; it's finer so absorbs/dissolves better into baking.

It is just ground finer.
