Suggestions for my super bowl nacho bar?!
PS - Obviously, I will be providing the basics - cheeses, jalapeno, sour cream, guacamole, etc., so please try to think outside of the box. -thanks!
Answers: I have a super bowl party every year and my guests vote on the food theme. It looks like I will be having a nacho bar this year, so I would like to get some suggestions on some unique topping alternatives. The most creative and mouth-watering tip will get the points. Good luck and thank you in advance for your input!

BBQ stuff:
Pulled Pork
Chopped Brisket
Pulled Chicken
-AMAZING on Nachos
Mix cream cheese and cocktail sauce together. Also, make a tortilla soup. I never do nacho/taco bars without both.
edit
Refried beens and black beans
ground beef
grilled chicken cubes
shrimp
cilantro
shredded cheddar cheese, monterey jack, muenster cheese
habanero salse
how about black olives filled with a chipotle cream cheese
great as finger food
Make sure to have manchego too for one of the cheeses. And fresh cilantro. I use Rosarita spicy refried beans and Taco Bell hot sauce. And a black bean and rice dish for topping for those who don't like meat (my fave). And black olives and green onions. And for the jalapenos, use pickled jalapenos...great taste! If you do make taco meat, use some chorizo too.
Super Nachos Recipe
The Super Nachos recipe is a Mexican appetizer recipe or main dish that feeds a crowd. More than just cheese and chips, more than ordinary nachos, layer upon layer of goodies makes this a Mexican party favorite.
Super Nachos
1 pound lean ground beef
2 teaspoons chili powder
2 teaspoons cumin
Pinch of salt
1 small can refried beans or bean dip
1 10 or 12-ounce bag corn tortilla chips
1 1/4 pounds Monterey Jack or Mozzarella cheese, grated
1 large onion, chopped
2 tomatoes, chopped
1 6-ounce can black olives, chopped
# Brown the ground beef in a medium skillet. Drain. Add the chili powder, cumin and salt. Set aside for a moment.
# Spread a thin layer of refried beans or bean dip over the bottom of a platter or shallow, heat-proof bowl to anchor the first layer of chips.
# Then spread a layer of chips over the beans, top with a layer of cheese, ground beef, onion, tomato and olives. Repeat until all the ingredients are used. Or, since this recipe usually makes about 4 layers, you can divide all the toppings into 4 portions for even layering.
# Microwave on high until heated through, about 10 minutes, or bake at 375° for 20-30 minutes. Serve warm with sour cream and Guacamole Dip, if desired.
I made some nachos for friends by putting sloppy joe meat and cheddar cheese on them and they loved it. We actually ate the leftovers later that night when they were cold and it was just as good. It's a nice change in flavor from the spice of nacho meat to the sweet tangy taste of the sloppy joes. And it is simple: ground beef and a can of sloppy joe sauce.
Another good dip to have is Buffalo Wing dip. Mix cream cheese and blue cheese dressing and spread on the bottom of a cassarole dish. Cover that with cooked shreaded chicken and hot sauce and then shredded mozzarela or cheddar cheese and toss it in the oven until it is melted. Use the tortilla chips to dip. Damn good!
