Do you think it's better to look at the ingredients?!

Question: Do you think it's better to check the ingredient list on food than to just only look at the nutrition facts? I'm getting married soon and I think it's really important to start now by checking the labels and know what I'm putting in the food we eat. Do you think it's smart to check labels and make sure there's not too much partially hydrogenated....Mono-sodium glutamate, bleached flour, etc?

MSG is not allowed here. Avoid it.

Read the sugar content, and the fat content. Both should be less than 10% per 100gms

Due to food allergies, I have to check the ingredients on foods, snacks, and even vitamins & supplements.

Of course it is.

you should look at everything

kind of a no-brainer. Its not as if any HARM can come from checking all the ingredients. So why not do it?
I once bought a really fattening cake, just because I was so impressed with the ingredients. Just good old fashioned flour and eggs and butter. No preservatives, no chemicals, nothing.I actually knew what each ingredient was!!! I was amazed.
