The color in wild Salmon depends quite a bit on the food they have been eating and is not a good indicator of quality or even flavor. Farm raised Salmon are raised in carefully monitored filtered water. And the color is not necessarily from dye. The feed contains the ground shells of crabs and shrimp to give the flesh the color. Otherwise it would pretty much be white.

YES MEANS IT IS FRESH

Red Cohoe is the best by far.

Not necessarily. Farm raised is dyed.
Farm raised is also nasty, raised in cages where the toxins, diseases, and feces are concentrated. Eat only wild caught if you can afford it. Ask at restaurants.

Yes it is, it is super fresh and will have no smell of fish at all. The duller the colour of salmon the older it will be.

Yes
