What is your favorite food from another country?!

Question: And why?

Answers: And why?

Chicken Adobo From the Phillippines, its sweet, slightly spicy and very tart too. Is very similar to the chinese version fo sweet and sour chicken but theres big chunks of carrot, onion, celery, pineapple not from a can its cut fresh. bits of coconut" lest this recipe had it", and its served over steamed white and brown rice and when the juices soak in to the rice omg so yummy. I havent had it in many yrs and I think im going to call my mom and get it from her.

Indian....It is soooooooooo tasty

Chicken tagine (spelled correctly?) Have had chicken and beef tagine at a Moroccon restaurant. Excellent!

Sushi/Sashimi. Really anything Japanese. I find it delicious, unique, and always beautifully presented.

Thai Food. Almost everything is so tasty!

Denmark food Delicious!

Lebanese, fresh and tasty with lots of things I like- chickpeas, olive oil, lamb, eggplant, lemons

British Fish & Chips with salt & Malt Vinegar. Why: They are delicious and bring back a great many fond memories.

Country French. Not fancy resturant French though I enjoy that too. My grandmother lived in France till her 30s and pretty much raised me cooking a lot of classic French family recipes. I also took a trip with her there where we stayed with family a lot so I got to eat a lot of home cooked French food. While some stuff I didn't care for (blood sausage, some cheeses), they made a lot of fresh dishes with fish and veggies since they shop every day from local farmers.

Biryani from india because it has many spices, rice, and meat mixed together ....it is sooooooo good!!!!!!!!

gyros bc they are so delicious. seriously the kind of meat in a gyro is the best thing ever... i think it's a blend of lamb and beef
