cheez-its.
FRIED CHEESE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
corn chips.
I eat 2 crackers with cheese and a hot cup of tea with milk & sugar, watch TV for 1/2 hour and go back to bed. It happens a few times a month and I don't try to fight it. Might as well get up and have something rather than toss & turn for the rest of the night.
Well it's 9:13pm where I am, and the kids are now into the ice cream.
Something healthy like a banana
Half a peanut butter sandwich. If you eat something that is high in sugar or carbs, you are going to wake up in the morning hungrier than you were at 2 a.m. Eat something that is high in protein to rid the hunger pains.
Do you have an tubesteak near by?
I eat frosted flakes, you eat tubesteak!
cheese cake with cherries on top...Small piece.
Taco Bell
Oatmeal because I don't want anything stickin' to my hips
Well in the past I've created many dishes to sate my unrelenting hunger. It's never too early or too late to fire up the stove and pull out the wok. It would be unusual to wake at this hour though with such an appetite - I would have had to have not eaten in a while, been staying up late, or have very unusual sleeping patterns. If you're up late at night studying, these foods can keep you going all night until the sun rises and school starts! Some I might eat at 2AM are:
- Pancakes with Honey
- Thai Chicken Curry with Sticky Rice
- Steak with Garlic-Butter-Chilli-Ginger Sauce and a Baked Potato
- Home-made Pizza (dough and all the toppings, vegetarian such as capscicum, pineapple, mushroom, tomato, zucchini, and sesame seeds)
- Chicken Broth with Spring Onions, Soy, and Sticky Rice floating in it (make sure that you make the soup yourself from chicken thighs and water).
- Chocolate (can get you through the trauma sometimes)
Not that it was asked, but if you're wanting to stay up later and you're very tired, eating ice cubes can keep you alert (and putting an ice pack on your skin).
But those are things I'll only eat if I'm on the brink of starvation (Such food is always good to eat at any hour though). Otherwise I'd just go back to sleep, or if I'm either feeling like something healthy or I'm dying of some mystery illness I'll have either a Kiwi Fruit, an Apricot, or a Nectarine. It all depends on the hunger level and how healthy I wish to be.
just a nice bowl of cereal
I'm ashamed of this....Stouffer's french bread pizza.
cherries, you eat one then play with the seed in your mouth, then eat another. After eating some, make rows or lines with them. After 20 minutes chewing and playing then it gets boring and off to sleep or to do something.
If its hunger, I (me ) just always eat a slice of bread or two with water.... fast and easy.
