How long can you leave raw eggs out?!

Question: I left the eggs out on accident the other day. I left the apt. for a few hours and when I returned, I noticed they were still on the counter. I quickly stuck them back into the refrigerator. Theyre cage free plus omega 3 brown eggs and I bought them a few weeks ago. I wanna make peanut butter cookies but I dont want food poison.

you are going to be cooking the eggs so you shouldn't get sick from them. as a precaution, before you add the eggs to your biscuit (cookie) dough, break the eggs one at a time into a cup to check each one. if the white is stained or the egg smells, then you can throw it away.

happy baking

People in the UK leave their eggs on the counter for a few weeks.
I've eaten them. They are good.
Never have had any problems with them.

Eggs in the shell are safe for 7 days at room temperature.
Cracked eggs should be used immediately or thrown away.

It really depends on if they were still in the shell or not.

If they were still in the shell, they should be fine if you use them within the next few days. Just put them in the fridge, separate from your other eggs if you have any, and use them first.

If you'd already taken the shells off, I'd toss them out, as they'd be full of bacteria.

So they were out for a few hours ,no need to panic, they will be good .As suggested check each one before using by breaking into a saucer ,if the yolk is whole & the white clear ,go ahead & use it.
