Hi! I'm a person who loves snacking on food in the afternoon! I want to eat healthy but not too healthy that it tastes disgusting! I've made a list for myself and I will now share it with you! Here it is:
-Mixed veggies dipped in Ranch Dressing
-Grapefruit with a touch of sugar
-Orange Juice
-Pomegranate (My favorite fruit! So many seeds! Pomegranates are very messy so wear clothes that you wear around the house.)
-Pomegranate juice
-Tomato juice
-Salad with a dash of dressing
-Mixed veggies with brown sugar and ginger
-Sushi (I don't like it but it is very healthy!)
-Avocados
-Beans
-Eggplant (I love Eggplants! You can tell by my user name! Lol!)
-Whole wheat bread
That is my guide to a healthier snack time but I have warnings too. Here they are:
-Don't buy any of that V8 junk!
-Don't eat when you aren't hungry. If you have nothing to do take a bike ride or go ice skating! (Depending on the weather, of course!)
-If you are happy, you'll be healthy!
-The best ingredient is love! <3
-Believe it or not but laughing is healthy!
I hope I gave you a helpful guide because it is very helpful for me! Live on this guide and you'll be fine! Best of luck!

TORY

3/4 cup low-fat vanilla or plain yogurt with either 1/4 cup low-sugar granola or 1/2 cup berries (or both if very hungry). Or you could just sprinkle some wheat germ or flaxseed over your yogurt.

1/4 cup trail mix (with no chocolate in it, just mixed nuts and dried fruit).

1 apple with 1 tbsp peanut butter

1 banana with 1 tbsp peanut butter

1 fruit and nut bar

1 granola bar (low-sugar, high fiber kind, like from Kashi)

Any fruit makes a great snack

1/2 cup Cottage cheese with some canned peaches

Unsalted Nuts (I prefer walnuts and almonds)

Whole-grain crackers with Laughing Cow cheese

Fruit smoothie (made with fresh fruit, low-fat milk or yogurt, and ice. No sugar. Use banana as one of your fruits to naturally sweeten it).

Hope I helped!

Raisins ,cheese with crackers, peanut butter with apple slices, globe grapes that are frozen ( really great ), cucumber slices with ranch dressing for dipping( you can use fat-free or lite dressing for dipping......

What is everyone who has answered thinking by listing calorie loaded, high carb/sugar granola?? Granola is terrible. It's like clumped candy.

Here is a nice comprehensive list of healthy snacks.
