Hangover food?!
Answers: Whats some healthy food I can eat that will make me feel better? I've got the hangover from hell and all I keep thinking about is bacon & eggs, crisps, chocolate, & biscuits but I've been eating healthy all year, I can't give up now! Help!
Being a former drinker, I've had a lot of hangovers. The best thing I found is scrambled eggs or an omelet with hot salsa, cheddar cheese and sour cream. About 20 minutes after eating it, I always started feeling human again. Then I'd drink a liter of water and take two aspirin. Don't take the aspirin until you have the food in your stomach, though, or you'll feel worse.
P.S. Next time you go out drinking, try to have a glass of water in between each drink. You'll have much less of a hangover, or none at all, depending on how much alcohol you consumed.
banana is good after a night out it is high in potassium. and drink lots of water, and go for some fresh air.
go on have one day off it wont hurt lol
PBJ
Milkshake
I agree, one day off wont hurt at all.
The best way is to drink LOTS if you need to eat, Banana is good, but nothing beats a good breakfast, grill the bacon, sausage etc and poach the egg.
Works for me.
Don't eat anything like bacon & eggs! I made that mistake and i threw up!
Just drink plenty of water!! Bananas are also good!
Water is best to wash the binge out of your system

Tomato soup - Bovril or Marmite on toast - Fizzy drinks - and you cant beat a VEGANIN tablet- for getting rid of a headache -
Eggs are supposed to be very good for a hangover that's why a fry up is the most commonly suggested remedy.
A healthy way of having eggs is to poach them and have them on toast.
If that doesnt appeal go for the fry up - one isn't going to hurt you.
For God's sake! All the healthy food in the world won't save your liver from alcoholism!
You know what I like when I'm all hung over? A big greasy pile of biscuits and sausage gravy with eggs, sunny-side up. Throw in some greasy *** bacon and some more sausage for good measure. Get some O.J. too. Gotta have O.J. Milk! Ahh... A big glass of milk to wash it all down!
But you're right. You should just have a rice cake and ice water. That'll help...
Wait. I've got it! A Bloody Mary! Ahh yeah! With a pickle and olives!
Thanks a lot. Now I have to go get stuff for Bloody Marys. I hope you feel like crap all day;)
dont eat all that
- try to drink a glass off banana milkshake
pickle brine, sauerkreutz, coffeee with salt, tripe soup
Get you some sourer-kraut that come in a bag (dairy) drink the juice ...That will do the trick !!
Hot and spicy soup preferably together with steamed (cooked) rice. It will probably make you feel much better, especially when you threw up several times last night.
Hello! There are lots of legends about how to avoid hangovers... in my case, the things which works better are:
1) Avoid drinking different type of alcoholic drinks during the same night (i.e. wine, beer, cocktails, shots)
2) If you are drinking cocktails and you cannot drink the same one all night, at least choose the same alcoholic base (i.e tequila based cocktails OR vodka based OR gin based ones, DO NOT drink all of those)
3) If you can't avoid drinking different alcoholic drinks during the same night out, always GO UP with alcoholic volume, NEVER DOWN; i.e.drink beer first, then cocktail, then shots, NEVER NEVER NEVER wine THEN beer... unique exception: a gin shot and THEN a beer.. but it doesn't work if you drink too much
4)Try to drink a lot of water in between drinks, even if it makes less likely to loose your soberness :)
5)..if you have anyway done the worst you could by not following points 1 to 4, eat plain white bread (it workss like a sponge!) and drink a bottle or two of water before bed (clean up everything :D)
6)....if you haven't followed my suggestions 1 to 5, try whatever you want but i tell you: you'll pass your day after facing hangover... but my last suggestion here is to avoid eating anything but bread (if strictly needed to prevent starving)
...i've never tried this 7) suggestion, but i'll try it next time: a cup of bovril, before or after sleeping.. we'll see!
I'm not that confident about 7) since Bovril is produced by the same company that produces AXE/LYNX Anti-Hangover shower gel.. THAT doesn't work at all! But Bovril is so much older than that, and i trust in granpa's wisdom...
