What can you do to subside hunger besides drinking water and (duh) eating.?!
Answers: DONT say eat bc im stuck somewhere without food for 4 hrs and im hella hungry.
do less things...dont think of food...thinking about food makes your stomach to produce more acid...based on my experience
ice... suck on it.... get juice (unless you're away from stores)
sleep... that's what i'de do
sorry
Mints
Eat before or GUM!! I really like it but if it can't be anything consumable then idk
Paint your nails, the smell will make you lose your appetite and also you can't touch stuff for a while.
if you have some milk have a glass of that always works for me
Eat your hand.
i would do anything that involves moving like jumping running anything that gets me less hungry
smoke or drink coffee. they're both appetite suppressants.
Get lots of exercise, take long walks, and find a nice hobby, anything to take your mind off of food. I assume that you are worried about your weight, if so, get rid of your favorite snacks and replace them with what I call "Rabbit Food", LOL. Carrots, Lettuce, Radishes, Turnips, Apples, etc. Get the Ideal!
I smoked 18 years before quitting when I was 36 years old; I didn't gain any weight for over 10 years. I accomplished this feat by snacking on Rabbit Food for the first 6 months after quitting; it will definitely curb your hunger. Good Luck
press your hand to your stomach, go to the bathroom, jump up and down (exercise)
all of these work for me. I hope you get to eat soon!
You have several options, although if you are stuck somewhere and cant get to a store, then I dont know how much this will help, but its worth a try. Your best and easiest bet is to get some green tea. Green teas has been shown to reduce cravings and reduce hunger. If you can get to a store, then I would suggest some Yerba Mate. It is a form of green tea, but I use it all the time to reduce my hunger, and it works GREAT. Another option is to try an herb called Hoodia. I have never used this so I cant testify to how effective it is, but it is used by many people while dieting to reduce hunger. It has become so popular though that it is being mass produced, so the cheaper brands may not be as potent. I hope this helps, GOOD LUCK!
I mean 4 hours isn't that long!
Are you absolutely STARVING? Just don't think about it.
Where are you that you cannot eat anything at all?
You could read a book or magazine. That always makes time go by quickly for me.
You could play around on here @ YA for a while....that really makes time fly!!
Honestly though, I think you'll survive your 4 hour hunger pains.
instead of water, drink broth. also try "nature's curb" which has microcrystaline cellulose which expands in your stomach so you don't feel hungry.
