Persimmons?!
Answers: What do you know about this fruit. I only recently tasted it.
There are different varieties with flesh ranging from firm to a bit mushy, depending on what you like. The flesh is very sweet & delicious, especially the softer ones in my experience. The firmer ones have a crunch like apples. Some people put them into the freezer, the sweet cold flesh is like eating an iced confection. When dried, it can be used in cakes, puddings, cookies, sprinkled on breakfast cereals, just like other more usual dried fruits. I've used it and other similarly exotic dried fruits in place of the traditional dried fruits in fruit cake, it tastes even better.
Warning, eating too many fresh persimmons can cause diarrhoea. My mum loves it and once ate almost a whole crate, to end up spending the night in the toilet. This is nature's way of controlling our greediness!

Nothing at all, but Google seems to want to lump them together with pomegranites - ok?
I have a large tree full of them and when ripe they are Delicious, Delicious.
