Is the spaghetti nice?!

Question: It's great because it goes with so many things!

here's one of my favourite recipes:

The Most Amazing Spaghetti Bolognese

Ingredients:

? 2 tablespoons olive oil
? 1 finely chopped onion
? 1 regular packet (500g) minced lamb (you can use minced beef but I find that Lamb is much more succulent and juicy)
? Passata (this is the secret ingredient, it makes the dish much richer whereas tinned tomatoes are very watery and a bit tasteless)
? 2 tablespoons tomato puree (tomato pesto is a good substitute)
? ? cup red wine
? 2 stock cubes
? Cup of frozen peas (optional, if you like your pasta sweet then Sweetcorn is good)
? 2 crushed cloves of garlic
? 1 tablespoon parsley
? About 6 leaves of basil torn.
? Spaghetti enough for 4 people
? Teaspoon mixed herbs (to ‘jazz it up’ or if you like spice you can add a teaspoon of spices)

Method:

1. Heat oil in a big pan for about a minute (you can test it by putting in a small bit of onion and if it sizzles, it’s ready.
2. Cook the onions until they have gone transparent and soft.
3. Now add the meat and cook with the onions until all the red is gone.
4. Add the Passata, tomato puree and wine. Also crumble in the stock cubes. Bring to boil.
5. Add peas and herbs and simmer for 10 minutes.
6. Stir in the garlic and parsley with the basil and simmer for as long as possible.
7. Boil a pot of spaghetti and cook for 10 minutes when it should be soft with no hardness at all.
8. Serve and go mad. (Napkins are a good idea- it can get very messy!)
