What can college students eat?!

Question: I'm in college. I can only eat what they serve and the food is fattening or the veggies r 2 buttery, when they even have veggies. They serve a ton of pasta and meat but the vegetables are definitely lacking. We don't have room on campus to have our own groceries.

Most college cafeterias have a salad bar and deli sandwiches, so you could get that. If you are really concerned maybe you should take it up with the university and see if you can fight for a healthier option along with everything else they serve.

Do they have salad?? If so get chicken for your meat and make a chicken salad..

Do your own packed lunchs and cook your own meals.

Eat the pasta and meat. You can buy a bag of mixed salad and some fruit at the supermarket and take it along to the dining hall to help your meal along.

You can have a small fridge in your room and it can double as a small table next to your bed. If you can, but a small microwave or toaster oven. Ramen noodles are great and you can also store fruits and veggies in the small fridge.

You just have to go for some fruits from market....
