Something is dreadfully wrong with my brownies!?!
Answers: I baked two batches of fudge brownies at once today for our super bowl party. One pan set up fine, and looks perfect. The second pan is fine, except for the fact that the middle of it refuses to set up. It is still gooey, even after I baked it longer than I was supposed to. I tried to let it set up, but was alas unsuccessful. Any ideas on what I did wrong with this pan?
sorry but you over cooked it, when it gets too hot the fat separates from the chocolate and forms a gooey mess in the middle, the edges will be dry and tough and taste fried the middle will stay goey untill cold then it will taste greasy and gross. the bad one was the pan on top probably, that is how most of these go bad. the top pan gets more heat typicaly
