How to make Lipton Green Tea taste better?!
Right now i'm just putting the bags in almost boiling water and letting them sit for a while. Then I drink it....not tasting very good.
Answers: Should I add sugar or what?

Only let it steep for three minutes (the longer you steep tea, the more bitter it becomes) then put a little honey in. DON'T use sugar - it defeats the whole purpose of trying to incorporate green tea into your life.
AS A HEALTHY DRINK.
There is NOTHING good about sugar...health-wise, that is.
Depends on how much youre making and how much you like sugar, but itll DEFINITELY help to add it!!!
Yeah, add sugar. That always helps. Another tip is to make sure it isn't too hot. If the water is too hot, it sort of ruins the tea's flavor.
Well...I drink green tea for health benefits. The sugar isn't healthy. If you wish, honey is a natural alternative to sugar.
I drink flavored green tea. There are TONS to choose from at any mass store like Wmart, Kmart and the like. Everything from mandarin orange, to peppermint to mixed berry. I make mine with the hot water, adding 1 package of Splenda. it's already flavored so I don't have to add anything else.
Good luck!
Experiment with other brands. Different brands taste very different.
I never liked tea until we went to London and I was served tea in a Londoner's home. I didn't see Lipton on the shelves over there. Now we drink PG Tips which is only available at the import stores.
I don't drink much green tea, but I'm sure if you asked around for suggestions, or tried a few different brands you are more likely to find something you like.
I like to add honey.,.It gives it a sweet but not too sweet taste. Just add a bit at a time and until it tastes good to u.
Down here in the south, we have fruit tea. Sounds complicated and some recipes are. Just add peach nectar- almost a half-half mix. Taste- add sugar if you like.
Oh you poor thing. When I moved to Belgium I assume my kettle was broken. It wasn't the kettle, it was the tea...it's all lipton rubbish here. It goes from tasteless to bitter if you leave it long enough.
My advice is keep it for those insipid-tea-loving guests and get some good tea!
i bag green one bag good earth chai tea makes two good size cups cinimon flavor is what you get
Add some milk.
Lipton bites the big one, go to an asian market and buy loose leaf green and some teabags or a strainer.
try hoji cha, green tea with toasted rice or green tea with rose, delicious!
They have an maderine orange it is good.
Try adding some basil leaves, peppermint leaves, and/or cardamom. Try honey instead of sugar. I tried it and i really loved it.
I assume you are drinking it cause it is so healthy.
I do too, but I always just add it to a flavor I love.
That way I get the benefit of the green tea
(which has very little flavor to me)
and the delight of my favorite tea -
like Cinnamon/Apple by
Celestial Seasons...
OMG, talk about GOOD!!!!
Even add the green tea with your
regular teabags - like for iced tea -
black tea or orange pekoe, etc.
Just use it as an 'additive.'
put honey in it, refrigerate it (preferably in a bottle) and then drink it. It'll taste completely different. If still bitter, add more water to it.
To make regular Lipton Green Tea taste better add honey or a peppermint candy(real not imiation) or use flavored green tea. The Lipton Green Tea with passion fruit and jasmine is my favorite and I have enjoyed it for years, it is also great with honey or a peppermint candy.
You cannot make it taste better. You just have to acquire a taste for it.
