A three-year study showed that rinsing under tap water significantly reduced residues of nine of the twelve pesticides examined across fourteen commodities. Four fruit and vegetable wash products were found to be no more effective at removing eight of nine pesticide residues from produce than either a 1% solution of dishwashing liquid or rinsing under tap water alone for three commodities studied.

you clean them under cold water set on paper towel to dry off
Use a mild soap and water and rinse well.
There is a solution u can used , its all natural to remove the pest-.. as well as not buying your fruits and veggies from the store why not grown your own. i dont trust have the stuff any more now days.. so i grow my own!:)
even in an apartment there is a way of planting.
I don't think you can and besides studies show that produce grown with pesticides has 40% less antioxidents than those grown organically.
My recommendation is to buy organic, and if possible support your local farms by looking on line for local produce you can buy direct.
