Is moldy cheese safe to eat (if you cut off the mold)?!
Answers: I have a big block of chedder with blue mold patches - I cut off all the surface area, but is it still safe to eat? Or should I throw it away?
Chop off the chunk you want to use, trim off the mould and any hard layer an use.
I do it all of the time.
I also think it gets tastier.
Yes, still good to eat.
