For those of you who occasionally eat frozen pizza...?!
Answers: What do you think is the best frozen pizza out there? I'm looking for brand name, style, and toppings. Thanks :)
Haven't really had frozen pizza since 2004, I always liked Jack's pizza. Pepperoni with a bottle of Louisiana hot sauce. Think it was thin crust. Don't recall if there was an option there. All I know is I pretty much lived off that stuff. It was the best. Only time I would get anthing else was when something else was cheaper, then I would kick myself because it did not compare to Jack's.
Tony's tastes like they use ketchup for sauce. (Which I don't see how that doesn't work for me when I used to put ketchup on my frozen pizza while eating it.)
Digiorno pizza has never got me confused with delivery. If you order from a pizza place that tastes like that crap, don't talk to me.
Tombstone was pretty close to Jack's. I wish I could have some of both right now to remember why I prefered it. The commercials may have played a big part on this one. "What do you want on your tombstone?" I really hated how smug the person sounded.
Red Baron. I don't recall liking the commercials much. The pepperonis were just weird. They were thick and small. Does that make any sense at all? My pizza is thin and rather large. "Here's an idea. Let's put these misshaped pepperonis on here so the person who wants pepperoni pizza gets just cheese pizza on 3 out of 4 bites." Then the guy disappears whle you are eating the pizza. Hey were did that guy go that was dressed like a pilot straight out of the 1940's. No clue on actual year or even decade, but I do know what century.
Don't recall if there are any other competitors. Newer stuff that sounds like it comes from healthy choice has no right being mentioned. Don't lie. The stuff is not as good as regular pizza. If you like it, you weren't looking for pizza to begin with.
Defenately Digorno...degorno...dont know exactly how its spelled lol. Anyway degorno stuffed crust supreme....just like take out pizza...but better! amazing!
fraschetta brick oven pizza by far.
Add some jalepenos and it rules
I like the california pizza kitchen frozen pizzas, the garlic chicken is okay but the meat lovers is amazing!! I'm sure the others are great too! and btw, the meat on frozen pizza hasnt been cooked...so don't eat it frozen...i cook mine! lol. :)
freschetta pizza and digiorno pizza. I like just the plain cheese. They also have a garlic bread pizza that is excellent. These two brands have great self rising crusts.
Tony's! The best topping is just pepporoni. It is fresh, moist, and crunchy when it gets out of the oven.
If you plan on microwaving it...Red Baron mini deep dish pepperoni is the best. For a bigger oven made frozen pizza I have to go with DiGorno spinach and mushroom with roasted garlic and the self rising crust.
Freschetta brand with Canadian Bacon and Pineapple. Also the California Pizza Kitchen Sicilian one is really good!
Pasquale's Pizza. It was originally made in a Pizza Parlor in Humboldt Ia. They now sell it frozen to local supermarkets as well. Really Good.
Definitely Red Baron or Tombstone. Any toppings you prefer. I like Sausage or Supreme.
