Do you eat or drink soy products? If so, which ones are tasty to you?!
Answers: I'm beginning to go through menopause, and I've heard that soy would help with some of the symptoms.
I enjoy Silk light soy milk, SoyaKaas soy cheese, there are also some ready to eat, marinated tofu products that are really quite tasty. Also "veggie slices" soy cheese. Try the sharper flavors like Swiss (it tastes more like a good American cheese, while the "American" flavor is quite bland) You could even try Edemame, unprocessed soy beans in the pod. They are now available frozen in most larger supermarkets. I like to toss them into salads or stir-fry.
Black Cohosh also helps immensely with menopause symptoms and is available in capsules or drops. Love and Luck--MissDelanne
veggie burger made out of soy
i love soy milk, at first i was biased but i got into it now i love it, and korean food has tons of soy products like tofu and it actually taste good
Soy beer . . .
Soy milk is very good, especially the vanilla.
Milk. 'Tis delicious. Especially the one with chocolate. :D
Silk very vanilla and the chocolate soy milk
I'm not a big fan of of tofu or drinking soy milk (it's an acquired taste; but it's fine for baking).
I also eat a lot of fake meats - soy-based veggie dogs, "ground beef" crumbles, etc. Look for the Yves, Morningstar Farms, Tofurky and Boca brands.
I sometimes drink chocolate soy milk--it's really yummy. I also cook a good deal with tofu--I put it in a lot of stir fries.
My sister is a vegetarian and she likes Silk Soy Milk. They have Vanilla and Chocolate flavours.
i like to drink SOLK soy milk, the chocolate is very good, and i like the plain and vanilla to on my cereal. the plain i like to just drink, the vanilla on my cereal because i don't use sweetener or like sweet cereal. and the other products of soy, well it just depends on what it is that i am buying that i like. but soy is very good-wise choice.
Silk Soy milk on my cereal every morning. Kashi Go Lean Cereal - made with soy - high protein. Kashi bar for lunch every day.
I thought it would be hard to get used to vanilla soy milk on my cereal, but I mixed it half and half for a week or two. Now I like the taste and creaminess of the soy milk better than regular milk.
Silk Chocolate Soy Milk
i like soy milk (chocolate is great!)
I also like Tofu. you can find in the refridgerated section of your more expensive supermarkets. Buy FIRM.
i like to make rice and then fry up some firm Tofu with some sesame oil and light soy sauce. YUM!
You can find vegetarian restaurants that make Tofu that takes like chicken and steak. It's all in the sauce. It's actually quite amazing how they get it right.
Soy milk has a good taste . and by the way gents the first time i tasted it was in McDonald's in Kuala Lumpur , Malaysia . they sold it in huge cups and you can refill , but i was too full to refill . that was back in 1993 . later i found it sold on the shelves of supermarkets but it was not very white .
something else i have to say my friends ; soy farmers now are accused of planting genetically engineered soy beans and seeds . some countries don't allow soy oil or tuna reserved in soy oil if it is genetically engineered .
I have liked mostly everything I have tried. If you need more product and nutritional info, they all have websites.
I don't really drink soy milk , but my husband does. Here are the brands he buys regularly and enjoys:
Silk (the favorite)
unsweetened, vanilla and on occasion chocolate and Silk nog. (the nog and chocolate are expecially good)
Westsoy Plus regular and Westsoy vanilla regular.

I am not a big tofu eater, but this is delicious:
There are recipes for tofu chocolate pudding all over the web and they are pretty much the same.
Moo-Less Chocolate Pie
Recipe courtesy of Alton Brown
2 cups chocolate chips
1/3 cup coffee liqueur
1 block silken tofu
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon honey
1 prepared chocolate wafer crust
Place a small metal bowl over a saucepan with simmering water. Melt the
chocolate and coffee liqueur in the bowl. Stir in vanilla.
Combine the tofu, chocolate mixture, and honey in the blender jar. Liquefy until smooth.
Pour the filling into the crust and refrigerate for 2 hours, or until the filling is set
I use to drink soy milk and I loved it, but when they came out with the news that it wasn't as good as they thought I stopped drinking it. I have had tofu at times and don't mind it but a few times that I have purchased it, I had to throw them away because they were off!
For menopause, I buy a cream from a compound chemist, which is a script from the doctor and is 4% progesterone/estrogen can't remember the percentage of the estogen right now, but it is the safer estrogen one.
When I go off this for a break from it, I get the symptoms back again, so I know it works. I don't think you would drink/eat enough soy products for them to work to be honest you would have to have heaps of them for them to work. If you get the hot flushes and sweats, drinking hot tea/coffee and wine will only make it worse I'm afraid.
