Why is it so hard to remove a sticky label from a non stick frying pan?!
Answers: Because it is made in China and they have long fingernails and find it easy to remove without instructions.
Never tried so i dnt know and its normally the food tht dont stick not he bit of paer glued on.
Hot wash in the dishwasher works
it tells you on the back
Lol, run hot water over it, that should make it easier to peel off
cause it is stuck on
i dunno but it ticks me off
Apply a drop of white spirit and let it soak for a few minutes, it will come off easy then. Make sure you wash the pan thoroughly after though as you don't want food in contact with the spirit.
good question, ive experienced that before, so annoying!
best question in ages. thanks
still don't know why 'soured cream' has a use by date.....
if the paper comes off but leaves the sticky glue behind use some nail polish remover on some cotton wool.works a treat.
I have no idea, but I do know I almost set my kitchen on fire last week because I didn't even remember to try and take it off!

It's because the glue atoms are smaller than the teflon atoms.
You shouldnt use nonstick pans, teflon has a kind of acid in it that degrades human genetics. Its causing birth defects in the factory workers who apply it, and its not removed in the manufacturing process, so when the teflon flakes off and you eat it its getting in your body and affecting your genes, not a problem for you but if you have kids in the future they may have a divided head, like a hairlip that goes all the way to the top of the skull.
Look it up, its true. They wont stop selling them yet but theres advocacy groups trying to ban teflon altogether for cooking use.
just boil some water in it, its quick and easy.
Because you are a man and have not got in touch with
your feminine side.
Also, common sense tells you that hot water will melt the
glue enough so that you can remove the label.
One positive way to remove sticky labels from anything is a tiny drop of wd40, then rinse with mild detergent.
Check out
www.lakeland.co.uk, or look for a Lakeland store in your area, they have a simple product called 'Sticky Stuff remover'', it costs £3.99, and it great for dealing with all sorts of sticky stuff, including annoying sticky labels!!
Or more to the point - - - why do "they" tell us non stick for a life - time and it's all
