Answers: omgsh! yestrday, mother was out shopping and she brought home a barel of slimjims containing 15 of em. yestrday i ate like 3 and today i ate like 4. well, the barrel fell from the table and when i picked it up, on the bottom it sed best by aug 17 2007. WTF!!!??? am i gonna have to stay home from skool tomorrow, or am i gonna have to buy Charmin UltraTM?
lol...thats just the date that they would be freshest by...things like that are smoked and peseved..so they can last a while...
No, they're fine. The date on them is a sell by date. They're good for long past that date, considering that they're loaded with preservatives, and especially if they're still sealed.
No their fine. Usually they dont expire for a few years after. They just will taste better by the preferred date. Lol You'll be fine, (though it is kind of disgusting they would be that old).
They last a while. They are smoked and sealed. I really don't even check the date. I eat them as soon as I get them. They don't last long with me. Open it and try a small piece. If it taste ok then you should be fine. Good luck!!
