1/3 cup butter
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons white sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoons lemon zest
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 cup sifted confectioners' sugar
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees).
In a medium bowl, stir together the 2 tablespoons of sugar with the 1 cup of flour. Cut in the 1/3 cup of butter until mixture is coarse crumbs. Press firmly into the bottom of a 9x9 inch baking pan. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven. Set aside to cool.
In the same bowl, stir together the sugar, salt, and baking powder. Add the eggs and vanilla, mix well. Stir in the chopped nuts until everything is coated. Spread the mixture evenly over the baked crust. Return to the oven to bake for an additional 25 to 30 minutes.
To make the icing, combine the lemon zest, lemon juice and confectioners' sugar. Beat until smooth. Pour and spread over the top of the bars as soon as they come out of the oven. Cool for 15 minutes before cutting into bars.

1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

1. Into large bowl, measure cereal; set aside.
2. In 1-quart microwavable bowl, stir together chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter. Microwave uncovered on High 1 minute; stir. Microwave about 30 seconds longer or until mixture can be stirred smooth. Stir in vanilla. Pour mixture over cereal, stirring until evenly coated. Pour into 2-gallon resealable food-storage plastic bag.
3. Add powdered sugar. Seal bag; shake until well coated. Spread on waxed paper to cool. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.
DUMP CAKE..my own recipe
make a chocolate cake according to the box..put into big bowl...cut into litle pieces...mix in 6 cups chocolate pudding..1 tub cool whip...chocolate chips..1 cup...all kinds of crushed up oreos, heath bars, crunch bars...mix all together and u have ure dump cake...not very nice looking since its just a mixture, but it sooo good!!

We go to my favorite Italian Resturant, where I end up ordering my fav dessert Tiramisu after we are done. I always have to have that on my birthday. As for the main course it varies with the menu they provide.

but you can never go wrong with some really good cake

Chocolate
For the past three years. I've always gone to the same restaurant. Thais ~ "Chinese" buffet. It's so good, it feels like a special treat every time I eat there. =)
I go to my favorite Greek Restaraunt Tapas in CT. Feta, Kalamata Olives, Diced Tomato, Pepperoncini, & Chopped Parsley Arranged Over Mixed Greens and Dressed with Tapas "Almost Famous" Salad Dressing
They don't even own a freezer everything is bought local and made fresh.
I like to go to the olive garden but since my b day is the day after christmas and that is their busiest day of the year i rarely enjoy it :(
My favorite foods to eat on my birthday are steak - rare, with potatoes - baked, mashed or steak fries, corn on the cob and German Chocolate cake with French Vanilla ice cream.
