What did u have on your pancakes yesterday?!
Answers: I hate to be one to answer a question with a question, but it seems there is a pattern here. Is there special significance to eating pancakes yesterday? The lemon and sugar you are speaking of, is that Lemon Curd with just plain sugar sprinkled on it, or do you use confectioners, or powdered sugar?

My son was born on shrove Tuesday 9 years ago,so it's a major tradition in my household now(due to a yearly guilt trip from his siblings that I was otherwise engaged lol).
Now not only do I make pancakes on the actual day but I also have to make them on my sons b/day!
My children love to eat theirs with fruit(bananas,oranges,apples and lemon juice,sugar,choc/toffee sauce)

Lashings of sugar a lemon juice I wish I could remember to eat them on other days too. They were fried in sunflower oil and were not too thin either, but they were crispy and mouth watering. more pancake days are in order so I don't forget to eat them.

I had some special pancakes syrup so yummy.
One my savoury pancakes I had diced chicken breast, in a rich mushroom sauce.
And on my sweet pancakes, I wrapped them up with HARTLEY's Best Extra Fruit, PINEAPPLE JAM. (HARTLEY's can be bought in TESCO and other supermarkets; it is absolutely delicious and is made by Chivers Hartley Ltd., Bridge Road, Long Sutton, SPALDING, Lincs PE12 9EQ. England).
Both were scrumptious and I will certainly be doing some experimenting with other pancake fillings.
i had a savoury one with .... chicken supream .,, and i had some sweet ones with ...syrup and lemon juice!
cooked pancakes for my hubby he had sugar and banana on his and orange and sugar but unfortunatly im on my diet so i had to settle for a good old fashioned bowl of all bran and a banana but hope you all enjoyed your huh!!!
