Hi nice question, start with Parma Ham Cheese (any, they are all good if they're Italian) with a nice bread, with a lovely company of a nice red wine, main I would go for any kind of Farfalle (small bow tie shape pasta) I would go for a la carbonnara but if you don't fancy that pick Ravioli (just if the chef is Italian and if they're made just in time) and the last but not the list the best ever so good I love it (could eat the whole tray he he) Tiramissu, don't forget Tiramissu.
Have a great time and a star to shine your food.

mmk well i love lasagna & raviolli!

Starter - I love any kind of garlic knots or garlic bread.....
Main course - my favorite is Chicken santimbocca (sp??) it's chicken cooked with spinach and a marsala wine sauce over linguini. I also love tortellini and any spaghetti
dessert - Tirimisu - no other option

I usually just get a salad with the house dressing (Italian of some sort) for a starter, or a bowl of minestrone soup

Main course either chicken or veal parmesan, usually with some angel hair pasta or some penne on the side

Sweet...I usually skip this too, but I've heard tiramisu is to die for. I'd rather have a slab of fresh Italian bread!

Starter, mine is always a soup and i am not fussy about what kind, main in an Italian would be maybe a cannelloni, spinich and a cheese lol, sweet i would say has to be a chocolate fondant or something :)

Well...I live in Italy, and i can say that every foods are....WICKED!!! for me of course!!!l
You should start your dinner with Lasagne, after that, i advise you some particular Italian meat, and in the end....Tiramisù...TOO GOOD!!!!
if you can drink some White Wine of Tuscany!!!!
I hope you like the italian cuisine!!!
Bye bye....

Starter- Fried meat ravioli or spinach-artichoke dip.

Main- Chicken marsala.

Sweet- Everyone has been saying tiramisu, and yes it is wonderful for coffee lovers but if you aren't in the mood for coffee try gelato!

mmm I LOVE Italian.. (nearly my fav!!) I love spaghetti carbonara (gotta be done right though otherwise it is dead boring!!) or a tuna steak (I dunno what my local Italian does to it,, but mmmm!!) or a whores spaghetti (er dunno the real name it is a really hot and spicy/prawn one!!) I am starving now... oh and if the tiramasui is a home made one ..yum yum.. (gotta be a homemade one though!!) oh and some kind of prawn to start.. not exactly in order.. but you get the gist!! I wish I was going out to an Italian.. have a lovely meal!!! xxx

oh and i nearly forgot, ...all washed down with a bottle of ice cold white, and finished with a irish coffee.. ;-)

omg i can't believe I forgot the side order of garlic bread.. and maybe a side salad... flipping heck nearly ruined my virtual meal!!! can i come please? xx

minestrone soup

green salad with steak and chips

ice cream

(sorry but italian is not my fav food - as i don't eat cheese and do not really care for pasta)

i love the bread though....

and i have been known to drink a bottle or two of asti

(although i prefer drier wine now)

have a good meal....

Bournjourno Elsie, mee lika da garlic bread witha da olive oil, follwed by pasta with pesto sauce and tiramasu. Italian food is so full of tasty herbs and tangy sauces, I love it.

Calamari
Veal Parmigiana
Cheesecake

If its a real italian restaurant order Ranch Dressing on your salad. See the strange looks you get. Some place have vinager and oil or Italian dressing. Its fun to screw with them.

Hi Elsie!

starters : insalata tricolore
Main: anything with seafood
Sweet: I never have one, I just have another glass of vino!!!

Enjoy your evening! :)))

I'd start with stuffed mushroom and garlic bread. Then stuffed shells and meat balls. And for dessert Gelato (Italian ice cream) and espresso.
