I've seen that sign every time that i've driven thru Amarillo and if memory serves me right ,if you don't eat it then you have to pay for it.
I think that when I was 19 or 20 i could have easily done it.When I was that age I could eat a whole NYC sicilian pizza and drink two six packs in one sitting

It would take me a week to eat that much steak (@ one meal a day). That's actually enough to feed a family. And what good would it do to eat that much in an hour? you couldn't really enjoy it...
