How many people eat peppermint ice cream?!
I bought the fudge sauce and NOW my kids will try it ("Okay, Mom") and they love it, but I know a lot of people would eat a shoe with that stuff on it.
Does anyone else eat the pink stuff with the candies, a la carte?
Answers: I'm guilty. My husband works for Dreyers/Edy's, and we get these occasional gift certs to use or give out. I was stunned that my kids wouldn't even try it, because the most heavenly combo to me is Peppermint Ice cream with Mrs Richardson's hot fudge sauce, but I'll eat it anyway. I don't even have a sweet tooth! I look at it as a seasonal treat, like Eggnog flavored anything.

I love Peppermint Stick Ice Cream from Pierre's - it's an Ohio ice cream manufacturer and they only produce it in Nov and Dec. I love it by itself or with hot fudge sauce. The Pierre's is pink with red and green chips of peppermint in it and delicious. Maybe I'll look for Edy's peppermint next year - or is it still out now!?! I'll check my grocery's freezer section tomorrow when I'm doing other grocery shopping.
I don't. I don't like peppermint. It (not being mean) makes me sick to my stomach, really.

I agree peppermint ice cream is a refreshing holiday treat. My son loves "mint" ice cream and won't touch it. Even though he will eat a candy cane.

Ewww, no. I think it's kinda a waste of delicious ice-cream. That's my first reaction but it might not be that bad=)
