Foodnetwork Iron Chef Battles Vs. ?!
Answers: Roger Irvine is the Dinner Impossible Chef on the foodnetwork. Anyone who watches him knows he creates unreal meals in a limited time. Just curious how you think he would do in a 1 hour battle with an Iron Chef? Opinions Please.
Actually he was on that show. It was a holiday themed show (don't remember which holiday), and it was him & Tyler Florence vs Cat Cora & Paula Deen. The ladies won.
HI!! I TOTALLY LOVE WTACHING THE FOOD NETWORK!! I CANT TAKE MY EYES OFF THE TV!! LOL..BUT I THINK HE WOULD DEFINETELY WIN...BUT IF HE WAS UP AGAINST CAT CORA, I HOPE HE LOSES..SORRY, SHE IS MY FAVORITE!! HE HAS A LOT OF EXPERIENCE THOUGH AND I THINK HED DO REALLY WELL, PLUS, HES USED TO DOING THINGS QUICKLY FROM HIS SHOW AND NOW HE DOEDNTS EVEN HAVE TO MAKE AS MUCH FOOD SO HE IS ALREADY PREPARED AND HAS TONS OF PRACTICE...THINK HE WOULD WIN AGAINST BOBBY FLAY?..WHAT OTHER SHOWS DO U WATCH?..I LIKE PAULA DEEN AND RACHEL RAY AND ELLIE KRIEGER AND DINER IMPOSSIBLE AND IRON CHEF AND MY FAVE..BAREFOOT CONTESSA!!
I don't think he'll do well.
Irvine is use to cooking for large events so his recipes are basic and kind of hotel-like.
I don't think he'll do well with innovation. In other words he's just cooking basic stuff.
i dont think he would last, alot of his dishes are based upon basic recipies, doesnt really create complex flavors or textures....he uses basically run of the mill recipes.
Wasn't he a contestant once when the show was new? I think he would do pretty well. His food is basic on his show because it has to be given the limits set for him, whether it is the time to cook for 500 or the limits on equipment or ingredients.
