How would you preserve a orange?!

Question: Like the entire thing or just a piece of the rind? Thanks so much XD

One of my teachers in 8th grade gave me an orange one time. That orange is still some where in my mom's stuff. it dried and never rotted. i think you have to keep it in a very dry area for a couple of weeks until it dries. Then it will just keep and won't rot.
BTW, i was in 8th grade over 30 years ago.

i'd use shellac for longest life

Freeze it!

sounds crazy, but my mother-in-law taught me a cool crisper trick with fruit and vegetables. buy new tube socks, place the orange within and tie it off with rubber bands.

A orange? A ORANGE?

Cripes. Public schools.

u could slice it then dry it in a dehydrator
